Bungee Information

These American manufactured and designed Fly Bungees, created by Sling Bungee Harnesses are made for comfort whilst also keeping safety a high priority for all who use them. Theses Harnesses are exclusive to New Zealand and we are the only gym facility that has them. You wont find them available anywhere on the market for purchase, only cheap knock off versions. We want our clients to come away knowing that we hold safety to a a very high standard here at Bad Ass, which is why we have ensured to purchase this top of the line zero % incident rating equipment.  These Harnesses offer additional padding for comfort around the waist, hips and legs, this is a must for the nature of this activity. Fly Bungee Harnesses are durable but also lightweight to eliminate the bulk whilst exercising. Fast release buckles for exiting and easy connect and disconnect. These high quality designed harnesses allow for optimal comfort  for the duration period of your class. If you are extra sensitive around the leg area we recommend that you wear padded bike shorts and bring a seat belt cover for the front of your waist.  

The cords used for our set up are made with several rubber bands for 200% stretch, longevity and rebound. We know  some Bungees purchased off the market that if cut into, are hollow rubber tubes that look like big drinking straws, that will without a doubt snap if stretched to far. Majority of Bungee cords have bulky sleeves so you aren't able to see what's inside holding you up whilst suspended in the air. Our 100% rubber band cord has a simple cotton sheath to protect what's inside. This provides an easier more glided movement, creating less rib pain when in the harness. Sling Bungee have spent a lot of time and resources developing the perfect Bungee cord for all to use.
